Are You Born Again?

I’ve often wondered if people know or not if they are really born again. I’m talking about people who you either know or don’t know. Just people you may talk to at restaurant or a coffee shop.

I’m just curious what you think. What is your opinion on the subject?

It says in I John 5:1-6
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

To be BORN AGAIN is not simply to believe in the historic existence of the person of Jesus Christ, but to believe that the SEED that God placed in Abraham, that went into Isaac, then Jacob, then the Twelve sons and finally into a nation called Israel (who was God anointed).

This SEED was removed from Israel and the total fullness was placed in Jesus, who now gives this SEED to whosoever believes in Him.

Col 1:13‑22
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

It says in Galatians 3:16 that “to Abraham and his seed were to promises made. He said not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ.

The Apostle Peter’s confession was that he did not see Jesus as ONLY a great prophet, teacher or miracle worker but as the Christ of God, the Anointed One or the One in whom is the TOTAL SEED, who alone could share this with the world.

Matt 16:16
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

WE ARE BORN AGAIN IF WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF GOD

1 John 5:1
EVERYONE WHO believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born‑again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring). AMP

The BORN AGAIN person does not argue and fight constantly with others who are of the family of God. How can a man say he loves God and hate his brother. (I John 4:20)

The rebirth brings with it the power to love.

1 John 3:14
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Roman 5:5 says that “hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”.

THE DIVINE TEST - Jesus says no matter what the religious display is, only those who walk in love are BORN AGAIN.

John 13:35
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

The Power of Your Words

The greatest power that a person has is in the spoken word. If these words are anointed by the Holy Spirit. We are told in the Bible, Hebrews 11:13, that the worlds were framed by the spoken Word of God. When He spoke, everything we see and experience became a reality. It literally came forth out of nothing. Of course, you must believe in God and the Spoken Word to understand my point of view. Anyway, this is the kind of power that God possesses, and this power is made available to us. God, through His Spirit, has been dealing strongly with us, those who will listen, about the power of our words. We speak words of unbelief, criticism, fear and hatred. And we seem to think nothing of it. But He keeps telling us that by our words we shall be justified, and by our words we shall be condemned, but we don’t seem to be able to hear it.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

However, some are catching on and are being trained in how to speak words that deliver, heal and take dominion over every circumstance in life. The Bible says, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love iti will eat it’s fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21, NIV)

When the life of his son Isaac depended on faith, Abraham learned in Genesis 22 to speak positive words of life. Moses spoke a word of judgment in Numbers 16:28-35, and his life depended on that word being true. People today are claiming to have more of God than the Old or New Testament saints had, yet they speak nothing but complaints, criticism and gossip. Without God help, we are helpless.

Most people are feeling that they are totally unqualified to rule the nations or have a part in the restoration of creation. That is good, for God is not looking for the “qualified”. He will use those things that are nothing, to bring to nought things the are. All you have to do is be able to speak what He says to speak. If you're not able to do that, but you believe, He will heal you and make you able. Some will say, “I don’t know what to speak”. That is good. He doesn’t want you to speak your words. He doesn’t want you to “know how to do it”. His Holy Spirit will put the words in your mouth. And these words will prove to be the most powerful weapon the world has seen.

The spoken word will bring down governments and forces of evil. It is a greater force than the atom or hydrogen bomb and will bring people to their knees quicker than germ or chemical warfare. Once more, it is safe, for no one can use these words of the power of the tongue without the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

It all begins by faith, “for without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6 NIV

Jesus asked a question in Luke 18:8 “when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth"? Will He? I know that it's hard to believe that our words can make a difference. I, too, have problems putting this into practice, but it’s something I believe.
